Udaipur is small enough to walk and pretty enough that you’ll want to. Two days is perfect for a first visit.
Day one
Start at the City Palace when it opens, wander the old city lanes to Jagdish Temple, and take the sunset boat on Lake Pichola. End with the folk show at Bagore ki Haveli.
Ambrai Ghat at dusk is the view you’ll remember.
Day two
